Core Skills Development

Mizzou Hockey is partnering with Modern Hockey Training, a newly established coaching group founded by former player Andrew Kruszka, to host a skills development camp for the Mid-Missouri Tigers Hockey Club. This camp will focus on the core skills required for young hockey players to grow and develop on the ice. Warmups and drills will emphasize improving edge work, body movement, stickhandling, creating space, and of course, scoring goals. All Tigers are encouraged to come learn from their favorite college players!

Ages

6U (2017 birth year and younger), 8U (2015 and 2016), and 10U (2013 and 2014) will skate from 8:00 to 9:00am.

12U (2011, 2012), 14U (2009, 2010), and 18U (2005, 2006, 2007, 2008) will skate from 9:15 to 10:15am.

When

Sessions will be held Saturday mornings starting on 4/8 and ending on 5/13 (NO SESSION ON 4/22).

REQUIREMENTS

Players of all skill levels are invited to attend! However, we ask that players have previous hockey experience on a team or through learn-to-play.

EQUIPMENT

Full equipment is required. Jerseys are not provided.

WHEN TO SIGN UP

Registration for this program will open at noon on Wednesday, March 15th. The registration will be capped at 25 skaters per session (25 skaters for the 6U/8U/10U session and 25 skaters for the 12U/14U/18U/HS session). The registration will be First Come, First Serve based on submitted registrations beginning at 12:00pm on March 15.
